The Student ACES Center
The mission of the Student ACES Center is to prepare students in the Glades community to thrive in life through innovative program offerings that focus on academic success, career readiness, college preparation, healthy behaviors, personal development and character education.

Safe, Stable and Nurturing
The Student ACES Center was designed by the students and for the students. The SAC is open everyday after school for students from local middle and high schools and serves as a place for students to learn, grow and succeed.
The Passport Program
In the Passport Program each student who attends The Student ACES Center in an interactive program that leads them on a journey throughout 7 different guiding principles: Academic Success, Career Readiness, College Prep, Health and Wellness, Mental Health, Character Development and Personal Development.
HYPE at the SAC
HYPE (Hopeful Youth Prove Excellence) combines interested based learning with real world experiences to elevate the students education outside of the normal classroom. The HYPE Program is intentionally designed to combine learning and fun to encourage students to love to learn!
Youth Empowerment Center
The SAC is home to the Belle Glade Youth Empowerment Center (YEC) . A violence prevention program supported by the Palm Beach County Youth Services Department. The YEC is open to all youth aged 11-19 in the local community.

Hope Cabrera
Glades Regional Director
Hope is from Pahokee and has been with Student ACES for 1 year. Prior to coming to Student ACES, Hope taught reading and special education for the DJJ.

Tommy Allen
Director of the SAC
Tommy is from South Bay and has been at The Student ACES Center since it opened in 2019.

Verenzo Harper
Chief Executive
Verenzo is from Clewiston and has been with Student ACES since mid-2020.

Pat Luma
Grandma of the SAC
Ms. Luma has lived in Belle Glade for almost 30 years and has been with Student ACES since 2017 when Student ACES first expanded programming into the Glades Region.
